That's why we offer more than just grooming. From training and pet sitting to travel assistance, we create a safe, familiar environment where your pet can feel confident and comfortable.
With over 8 years of veterinary experience and pet sitting, over 5 years of training, and over 6 years of grooming, we know the value of low-stress, compassionate care tailored to your pet's needs.
Every pet is different, and we won't promise a stress-free afternoon for every animal who walks in — but we will promise patience, honesty about how it went, and a plan for next time.
How Did Vibrissae Begin?
After more than eight years as a veterinary technician, I developed a special love for working with fearful, anxious, and reactive pets. I saw firsthand how something as routine as a nail trim could become an incredibly stressful experience—for both the pet and the person who loves them.
For some families, a simple nail trim could mean an overwhelming appointment, significant expense, or even sedation just to safely complete basic care.
I wanted to change that.
Pets do not react without reason. Sometimes it's the way a paw is held. The way a tool is introduced. A previous negative experience. The environment around them. And sometimes, it's simply whether they feel safe with the person caring for them.
At Vibrissae, we believe those details matter.
Our approach is centered around patience, thoughtful handling, understanding body language, and meeting each pet where they are. We don't just want to complete a service—we want to build trust and create a better experience each time they visit us.
I also wanted Vibrissae to be a place where pet parents could feel supported and educated, never judged. Our role is to help you care for them confidently, comfortably, and with their long-term health in mind.
And from that vision, Vibrissae was born.
Vibrissae began right after work, getting in my car and coming to people's homes. Now we offer a place of comfort, understanding, and stress Less Grooming.

I love teddy bear and Asian fusion style trims and trying new fun hairdo ideas! I started grooming to be a voice for the voiceless and provide care for pets as if they were my own. In my free time you can find my Lu dog (GSD) and I hiking the woods or at home doing arts and crafts and watching anime with my son!

Hello! I'm Beck! I love the outdoors and have a passion for training! CGC Evaluator AKC Certified, 4+ years of service dog & task training, 5+ years basic training. I also provide pet sitting and baths on my off time from training!
